Isham Family Farm

Address : , Williston , VT

On Isham Family Farm, the Isham family has been producing 100% pure Vt Maple Syrup for five generations since 1871. Jairus Isham started, followed by Homer, George, David and now Mike Isham. Vermont maple sugar makers possess the maple sugaring know-how that has been handed down generation to generation. Great on pancakes, French toast, waffles, cereal and desserts. Can be used as a great natural sweetener instead of sugar.

Summer is a great time to enjoy our newly renovated barn which is well suited for weddings and special events.  For more information on the barn and to view photos, follow the link to our barn page.pyo sign

Pick-Your-Own berries: Our berry fields, established in 2003, include early and mid-summer-ripening blueberries, and summer and fall raspberries.  Self-serve berry picking is avialable from dawn until dusk.  Quart and pint containers are provided.

Stop by the farm to see our baby calves!  Petting the calves and participating in a naming contest are always popular with kids, as is “driving” the chicken tractor that houses the pullets.  You can also spend the day hiking the 1.3 mile Oak View Hill Hiking Trail that includes a beautiful pond and wooded knoll with wonderful views of Mt. Mansfield.  When the Ishams conserved the farm in 2002 with the Vermont Land Trust, they donated a trail easement to the Town of Williston which now maintains the trail.  Picnic tables are scattered around the property for use by guests.
