High Pastures B&B

A central Vermont Bed & Breakfast in a mountain setting on 125 acres with spectacular views.

Our five guest rooms, all with private baths, are furnished with antiques and our spacious farmhouse has three fireplaces.

Our Bed and Breakfast is small and we like to treat our guests as part of our family during their stay. We have frequent walks to our rustic log cabin, "Solitude", tea in the late afternoon, and wine and appetizers during cocktail hour.

Our log cabin, "Solitude" offers particularly beautiful views. It has no electricity and is lit by gas lights. The kitchen and full bathroom are run by a generator. Solitaire is available for $150 per night.

Cross country skiing, hiking, mountain biking, tennis, and swimming are all available on site. Our property is on the Long Trail and the Appalachian Trail. The Catamount Cross Country Ski Trail is two miles away and downhill skiing, shops, and cultural opportunities are nearby.

You will see sheep, turkeys, chickens and game birds in our pastures and barnyard.
