An Upper Valley family tradition and an everything-strawberry celebration, Cedar Circle Farm’s 11th Annual Strawberry Festival takes place on the farm in East Thetford, VT, rain or shine!

Fun for the Entire Family – Horse-Drawn Rides & Live Music All Day
On-going activities include horse-drawn rides to and from the strawberry patch, strawberry picking, an Organic Good Food Concession, live entertainment, seed planting , mural coloring, arts and crafts, community displays and self-guided tours. On the main stage, under a tent, The Last Resort, an alt-country band from the Upper Valley, plays from 10-12, followed by Jeanne & the Hi-Tops, a 6-member band also from the Upper Valley, plays soul, blues and root music from 1-4 PM. Under the Kid’s tent there will be games and activities, storytelling by award-winning British storyteller Simon Brooks of New London, NH, and interactive music with the NH 5-member Cold River Ranters band throughout the day.

Organic Good Food Concession
The concession (11-3) offers homemade strawberry shortcake, hearty salads, grilled local Hog Wash Farms sausages, Bean Crafters bean burgers (made with CCF’s beans!), and Strafford Creamery organic ice cream with strawberry sauce, strawberry smoothies and popsicles, cookies, etc., plus NOFA-VT’s fresh organic veggie and herb pizzas, baked in their copper- domed mobile pizza oven. Bike Repairs & More
CCF’s beekeeper introduces the bees with a talk about beekeeping (1-3).The Thetford Energy Committee will be offering free bike repairs and a raffle will be held, with proceeds funding CSA shares for low-income families (drawing at 2:45). The farmstand and Hello Café, offers organic veggies, flowers, baked goods and farm-made products throughout the day.  

A Green Event
Carpooling is encouraged (parking is $5 per car); those on bikes or on foot get in free!
