And now the fair season is winding down - be sure to visit the last one of the year! It's known as the Tunbridge World's Fair and is an old-fashioned agricultural fair in a unique rural setting.
Foliage is here, too, as the days grow shorter and the frost ends the last of the gardening for another year. Farmers are getting in the last of the hay and Harvest Festivals abound in many small towns. It's one of the last hurrahs before the leaves begin to fall and the snow flies.
Corn mazes are a great fall treat - the puzzles change every year and create a new challenge!
Glorious fruits in the local orchards are ripening and everyone anticipates a "crunchy" harvest - check out their websites for the challenge of picking your own from the trees!
All the great on-farm activities are going strong, as we greet thousands of visitors intent on finding the perfect red and orange mountainside. Stop by a farm for a visit - we love to share our views!
