8th Annual Strawberry Festival at Cedar Circle Farm

Family Fun!  Kids' crafts, face painting, storytelling by Simon Brooks, horse-drawn rides, strawberry picking, live music,  organic "good food" concession, shortcake, wood-fired pizzas & more!

Celebrate Vermont strawberries and local organic agriculture on a beautiful Connecticut River Valley farm. Enjoy activities like horse-drawn wagon rides, strawberry picking, kids’ crafts, face painting and storytelling by Simon Brooks of Orford, NH (11; 12:30; and 2 pm), and live contemporary folk-rock music (1-3 pm), under the tent, by the Wallstiles: New out of Vermont. A “good food” concession (starts at 11 am) offers homemade strawberry shortcake and cheesecake, grilled local sausages, veggie burgers, farm-fresh salads, and local organic ice cream. NOFA-VT also offers wood-fired organic veggie pizzas from their mobile oven, as well as all-new strawberry dessert pizzas! The farmstand and café are also open. Parking is $5 per car, with no charge for bicylists or walkers. A Green Event with a waste recovery station—bring a place setting to help reduce waste. Rain or shine!
