8th Annual Pumpkin Festival at Cedar Circle Farm

Celebrate everything Pumpkin! Kids activities, horse-drawn wagon rides, pumpkin picking, cider pressing, bike-in, good food and fun for the entire family.  

Fall Family Fun--celebrate pumpkins and local organic agriculture! Ongoing horse-drawn rides to the pumpkin patch, pumpkin picking, kids' activities, pumpkin coloring, face painting ($1), and cider pressing (10-4); children's tales by British storyteller Simon Brooks (11, 12:30 & 2); live music by The Legendary Strafford Blues Band (12:30-3:30). Bike-in with free bike checks and workshops (11-3), Organic "Good Food" concession (starts at 11) with pumpkin pie, bread, and cheesecake, grilled local sausages, soups, ice cream, NOFA-VT wood-fired pizzas, VT Crepes and VT Beancrafters burgers. Espresso drinks, coffee and tea served in the coffeehouse behind the farmstand. A "Green Event" with a waste recovery station. Feel free to bring your own place setting to help reduce waste. Also a 350.org 10/10/10 Call to Action event. Rain or shine.  Parking $5 per car, carpooling encouraged. Come by foot, bicycle or train for free!
